Jason Garfield Juggling Workshop May 15
Posted April 27, 2010

Note: World Juggling Federation founder and multiple International Jugglers' Association award-winner Jason Garfield's last workshop (see here) received rave reviews. Highly recommended. Posted as received.

Jason Garfield Workshop in NY 2
Limited Space
Saturday, May 15, 2010
12pm–4pm
Brooklyn, NY
Cost per person: $100

For those who couldn't make it to the first Jason Garfield Workshop in NYC, he'll be holding another session for a group of ten. There are already two spots taken. The workshop will cover the following:
  • Body position
  • Throwing and catching technique for odd and even patterns
  • Increasing accuracy of throws
  • Slowing down club rotation & controlling club throws—applies to all club moves and numbers where you have to make high singles, doubles, or triples—a must for juggling more than three clubs
  • Flat throws
  • Overhead throws with balls
  • The shower pattern with balls
  • Backcrosses with balls and clubs
  • 180s
  • Siteswaps with balls
And if there's time, he would also like to go over some ring-juggling moves for anyone interested.

Minimum skill level requirement is the ability to juggle three balls, three clubs, and three rings.

If you are interested in taking this workshop, email info@thewjf.com for more info. Preference will be given to those who did not make it to the first workshop. If space is still available by May 3rd, repeat attendees will be welcome.

To register, send a check or money order made out to "Jason Garfield" to:
Jason Garfield
72-11 Austin St. #129
Forest Hills, NY 11375
When you register, include a note saying what tricks you're mainly interested in learning or working on. Feel free to include moves already promoted as part of the workshop in addition to anything else you may want to learn). Jason will have plenty of planned moves and exercises to work on and would also like to spend some time working on more personalized move requests if they fall within his teaching abilities.
