"The little trick of getting three objects to dance around in your hands has always managed to keep a small sense of magic...It's one form of insanity we feel everyone has a right to experience."

Note: posted as received.

CLOWN WORKSHOP AT GOTHAM CITY IMPROV!

Taught by Keland Scher and Ambrose Martos, clown professionals who have acted and instructed around the world including performances with Cirque du Soleil, Big Apple Circus, Slava's Snowshow, and more! Through the experience of imagination, creativity, innocence, and play, we invite the actor to discover or rediscover his or her sense of gravity and levity, range of breath, physical awareness and emotional connection. By reconnecting with developmental patterns formed in childhood, combined with the pleasure of the clown nose, the actor learns there is comfort and joy in openly giving and receiving on the stage. We allow our students the freedom to find joy in the unknown. Playing in the unknown is how the magical, fantastic space between audience and actor is created.

Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11 12:00-4:00
Tuition for the full weekend is $150.

SPECIAL OFFER! If you're able to pay for the Clown Workshop in full before the first day of class, you're entitled to a savings of $25! That's a full weekend course for only $125 if you pay by March 9th! More details regarding class content and enrollment can be found at www.gothamcityimprov.com.
