Posted December 19, 2006
Note: Posted as received.
The next two day workshop will be: *Sunday January
7th and Tuesday 9th, 2007 at 6:30 PM*
Making well over 100 custom clown noses for clowns
in the New York area and around
the world Stanley Allan Sherman will be teaching a
two-day workshop - How to make
your own leather clown noses.
In the class you will learn how to:
- Choose leather for the nose.
- Prepare the leather.
- Mold leather into the clown nose.
- Sharpen the knife blade. You cannot cut
leather with a dull knife.
- Fit the clown nose.
- Cut the clown nose.
- Paint and finish the clown nose.
- Prepare and fit the elastic and string.
One great thing about the leather clown nose is they
do not sweat like
rubber or latex and they have a much more natural
look than rubber.
