Good women are no fun... The only good woman I can recall in history was Betsy Ross. And all she ever made was a flag. -- Mae West

PEOPLE ARE SAYING...

"If you've never taken a clown workshop with Kendall Cornell, than you've never really truly LAUGHED. You haven't! You think it was laughing but it wasn't! Not like this. Basically your life has been a Chekhov play and you never realized it." – Emily J.

"Thank you so much for the workshop! I have been completely inspired from last weekend in every way!! The ladies were absolutely hysterical and it was heart-wrenchingly beautiful to see what you brought out of each person. It was also amazing to be a part of an all women's clown class and realize how much work women clowns have to do in this world, bringing laughter to the taboos of being a girl. It was so so so so so so so so so so so much fun and challenging and has left me wanting to be back in class again as soon as possible!!!!!!!!!!!!!" – Allegra L.

"Kendall Cornell is a brilliant teacher. I really experienced alchemy in her workshop as she manifested the clown in each of us. I can't wait to work with her again."– Victoria L.

"...How did it happen that so many funny women converged in one spot? We were so different, but everyone had something exquisite to contribute. I don't think I've ever had such a feeling of camaraderie with my peers in a workshop before. I give you all the credit for that-- you made a place where women could dare to be funny together. Thank you!!" -- Judi L. O.

"Kendall Cornell's Clown Workshop won me over ! I'm hooked now and I wanna be a CLOWN !!! " – Sandy E.

"In just one 3-hour clown workshop with Kendall Cornell, I learned how to play seriously, ... enjoy being foolish, sexy, silly, brave, coy, loud, etc. .... Her gentle yet challenging guidance pushed me to the edge to see, feel, be the absurd but always optimistic clown. Thanks for a truly awakening experience!" -- Christine B.

"I loved the workshop! I can't stop dancing around my apartment in my clown nose. I am looking forward to more clowning in the future." --Jane G.

"Kendall is a resourceful, imaginative and tactful teacher of clown. She has the means to create an open and judgment-free atmosphere where learning is fun and happens in an organic manner. ....I can promise you will laugh a lot!" -- Yvette F.

"Kendall has the ability to pick out that little spark in each student and turn it into a fire. She created an environment that encouraged us to hang out in the unknown and find the funny in that unknown... I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!" – Gina S.

"I highly recommend Kendall's workshops, especially to those, like me, who are frankly terrified at the task of "being funny!" Everyone gets to stumble, fall, get up again, keep trying - and succeed! - in an atmosphere that is at once truthful and immensely kind and supportive." -- Bethany R.

"Kendall's clown workshop for women was amazing. I stretched my mind, body and creativity in directions I didn't know they could bend! Sounds corny, but honestly, I loved it and haven't stopped thinking about it. What to do next?! – Lauren P.

"I liked the way you conducted the workshop... I can say to me you really make me feel comfortable even in moments that I wasn't it and encourage me to keep doing it and that's a very good characteristic of who is teaching, you can really get the best of someone make him/her not afraid of showing." -- Eunice B. (from Brazil)

"Kendall's class allowed me to continue my exploration of clown in a supportive and fun environment and introduced me to some wonderfully funny ladies!" -- Sandi C.

"I was looking for a safe play space, a lot of fun, a great way to get back into my body as an actor, and a teacher who would help me continue to find my unique expression. Kendall Cornell's Clown Workshop is where I found all of the above!" ---Deepa P.

"Kendall's workshop made me realize that being funny is not anything outside yourself but starts right there where you are in the moment. All my insecurities and strengths make up the clown inside of me. The way Kendall was able to find the truth of what was going on in each person at that moment and have it turn it into something hysterical was a great experience." -- Jennifer M.

" ... In a mixed group of professionals and beginners, Kendall created an atmosphere in which we were all able to explore the serious, zany heart of the clown.... Best of all, when the workshop was over, I felt as if I had been introduced to myself freshly, and after living with me for sixty years, that was quite a treat!" -- Joan M.

"I felt that in the time we had together, you opened doorways of possibility and joy.. I feel that you are a powerful director, and you could make a difference in peoples lives. Your eye and training are similar to a shamans eye opening dimensions.... It was truly special to feel the concentration and brilliance used towards the comedy" – Alisha D.
