Clown For the Improviser: Improvising from the Heart
Instructor: Eric Davis
Yes, you've improvised, but what does it mean to improvise from the heart? A
clown wears her thoughts and feelings on the outside of her skin for all to
see. Through great generosity and courage we allow the audience to see our
personal ridiculousness. Not to say a joke, but to be the joke. When the
clown does this, he will not be liked, he will be loved.
This 4-hour introductory workshop will begin to awaken your inner clown
through various exercises and play, focusing on impulse, emotion and
physical expression.
Saturday, April 1 (No Joke!)
11-3 pm
Location: The PIT Theater (154 W. 29th St, 2nd Fl)
Prerequisite: None
