Posted August 9, 2007

Note: Posted as received. Anyone interested in coordinating a group outing, please post on Message Board.

A circus of physical theatre, Play on Elemental Consequences features the Suzuki method, masks, puppetry, an original score, and South Africa Native Uys Du Buisson as the fire-juggling Prometheus. Du Buisson, who trained at the Zip Zap Circus in Cape Town, South Africa, juggles five illuminated balls in the outdoor, sun-set stage in Central Park, and will juggle fire torches for the company's Connecticut production. He also plays 'The Furies,' cloaked in a three-headed puppet, highlighting his training in the physical arts.

At:
Summit Rock, Central Park
83rd Street and Central Park West
New York, NY
