-------------------------------------------------
Hello Friends,
I've arranged "Turning Japanese" (and a few other numbers) for tuba,
ukulele, accordion, clarinet, spoons and soprano. It's one of my favorite
things I've ever done. Ever. I find it to be a different kind of funny
from funny-haha and funny-strange. It's somewhere in between.
Please come if you can make it and if this sounds fun.
It will be performed on April 12th and 14th as part of "30 Clowns in 3
days" at the "Laugh Out Loud" festival at the Emerging Artists Theater at
311 W. 43rd St. 5th floor (btw 8th and 9th Aves.)
There will be many acclaimed clowns on April 11th, 12th and 14th but I will
only be performing on April 12th and 14th.
Here's a recap:
What: A clown band playing silly arrangements of 80's pop songs as part of
an evening of clown sketches (I might be doing some other sketches too.)
Where: 311 West 43rd St. 5th floor (between 8th and 9th)
When: Thursday, April 12th and Saturday April 14th at 8pm (also Wed 4/11
but w/out the band or the me.)
Why: dunno.
How: through the awesome power of the human spleen
