Note: A long-time variety favorite (and the Jewel of the Nile!), Avner is a Master Clown and has taught workshops and performed all over the world.. Description below is from Queens Theater in the Park website. Cyn loves this guy!

Avner the Eccentric's one-man shows have been a hit for decades and have
been well-received worldwide as they defy the barriers of language and
culture. Variety says he is "Avner the Clown, The Mime, The Juggler, The
Magician or The Eclectic. Most of all he is Avner the Entertainer. His is a
style that draws together the elements of commedia dell'arte, farce, Emmet
Kelly clowning, Chaplanesque routines, mugging a la Harpo Marx, and an
ability to interact with an audience born of years as a street performer."
Avner will be performing his new one-man show Exceptions to Gravity at
Queens Theater in the Park on Saturday, December 30, 2006.
