Vote for Penn: Keep Variety Artists on TV
Posted March 17, 2008
Penn & Teller are one of the most widely known and successful
contemporary variety acts in America today. Penn Jillette, who is more
than half of that act by both measures of volume, appears tonight at
8pm EST (7c) on ABC-TV's "Dancing with the Stars." He and his partner,
professional dancer Kym Johnson, have been training for weeks and
compete tonight with the Cha Cha, "a cheeky, lively and flirtatious
dance."
Tune in tonight, and more importantly vote for Penn and Kym. They'll
be the first act on the show. You can vote multiple times by phone,
email, and text message. Voting opens when the show begins. The show's
website will post more detailed
instructions when voting opens tonight.
If they stay on the show long enough, Kym will juggle with Penn on
air. If that's not supporting the variety arts, what is?
Also, to be super cool, you can show your support for Kym and Penn
with a limited edition t-shirt or other merchandise, available only at
cafepress.com/dwts.
The more people juggling and winning stuff on TV, the better for all
the variety arts.
Thanks for voting--and enjoy the show!
