Circus Friends & Fans,
Disappearing honeybees? A war without end? Legalized torture?
Rampant development with no affordable housing in sight? Rudy Giuliani
on the Presidential trail? Has the world gone mad?
We think so!
Optomists, utopians, revolutionaries! Lovers of pagentry, spectacle
fans and circus freaks!
We say: NOT IN OUR NAME!
We say: UP WITH CIRCUS! UP WITH ACROBATS! UP WITH THE ABSURD!
And down down down with despair, terror, mean-spiritedness and all
rotten injustice!
As 2008 begins, all of us at CIRCUS AMOK extend our heartfelt thanks
to you for your support of our work and annual FREE OUTDOOR POLITICAL
CIRCUS TOURS OF THE NYC PARKS! More than 10,000 New Yorkers from the
South Bronx to Chinatown to Coney Island saw our show in 2007 and in
2008, we are determined to top that!
Without your ongoing support, we'd have to roll up our ring and strike
our scaffolding. Thank you! Our hats are off to you!
