Artists, academics, theater lovers, explorers, activists, and the curious are invited to a benefit tour for Bond Street Theatre: On the Road.
For the first time ever, Bond Street Theatre of New York City invites companions on its upcoming 2006 tour to Eastern Europe, August 22-September 3, 2006, including the 24th International Festival of Theatre (Mostar, Bosnia, and Herzegovina) and the 9th Annual Jewish Arts Festival (Budapest, Hungary):
Join the Performing Artists for Balkan Peace, a network of international artists dedicated to cross-border cooperation.
Watch Blood & Honey, a collaboration between nine PABP theater companies.
Explore Mostar, the historical gem of Herzegovina, and the mountainous countryside.
Attend the 24th International Festival of Theatre in Mostar.
Take classes at the Alternative Academy with world-renowned masters.
Visit Budapest for an exciting tour of the city and the 9th Annual Jewish Summer Festival.
Enjoy Bond Street's performance at Vac Orphanage, bringing laughter to children in need.
Choose from one of two tours:
Option A (7 days Mostar and Sarajevo, 5 days Budapest)
Option B (9 days Mostar, 3 days Budapest) includes Alternative Academy workshops
Prices will depend on registration. If 15-20 people register, the price per person will be $1,353. If 21-40 attend, the price will drop to $1,182.
Costs include hotel accommodations (doubles), all admissions, English-speaking guides, breakfasts daily, two receptions, and some special meals. Optional additional programs, including the Godollo castle and theater, Herand china factory, a horse show, and Mostar Alternative Academy workshops, are available for an additional charge. Tour price does not include airfare. You are welcome to use frequent flier miles.
