German Variety Contest

Editorial Note: The Chamäleon Varieté is one of the most prestigious variety theaters in
Berlin, which makes it one of the best known in the world. This contest
would be a great way to get started performing on the international scene.
Can we get a Carminer to represent?
We are proud to announce our 2nd Newcomer Festival at the Chamäleon Varieté
this year to take place from October 29th till November 2nd, 2003.
The festival is dedicated to young performers who wants to make a start in
the entertaining business of Varieté - not limited to one discipline but
open to every artist or artist group with an act suitable for Varieté.
The competition is open to artists not older than 25 years.
We are able to offer the following prizes:
- 1st Prize 2.500 Eur
- 2nd Prize 1.000 Eur
- 3rd Prize 750 Eur
- Prize of the Audience 750 Eur
- 3 Special Prize each at 250 Eur
The application forms will be also available via Internet
www.chamaeleon-variete.de.
Application deadline is September 15th, 2003!!!
