Spring Sprucing Next Thursday

Oh sure, your backcrosses are coming along, you're finally not throwing so
far forward, your tab-tab is a thing of beauty, but let's get personal: HOW
DO YOUR CLUBS LOOK? We appreciate all the attention to your personal hygiene
and skill, but what about your hardware? If it don't look good, you don't
look good.
Next Thursday, June 5, 2003, is SPRING SPRUCING night at Carmine! Not this
week. Next week. Brian Dube has graciously volunteered to set up a club
clinic. For no charge, Brian will spend the evening fixing our props! He'll
probably only have time for minor and cosmetic repairs, but admit it -- some
of your trim tape is getting scraggly, and we've all got a few loose knobs.
Bring them in. He'll do them up. Yes, he'll fix other brands. No, there's no
catch, although if you'd like to help out, he could use assistance stripping
down old tape. It's Brian's contribution to beautifying the club. Take
advantage. We'll all look better for it.
