This is a new adaptation of Serra's adult piece (Identity Crisis) in a
very fun, interactive show called Feature Forest this saturday at the
Spring Popcorn & Puppet Festival - Washington Market Community Park,
TriBeCa.
It's supposed to be a nice sunny day and this is a great festival for
kids.
Puppeteers Ralph Lee, Amy Trompetter, Michelle Beshaw, Kate
Brehm, Serra Hirsch, Chinaberry Puppets & The Circus Amok Band
along with The Toe Jam Puppet Band celebrate spring. The festival
opens with the Toe Jam Puppet Band followed by four puppet shows
that perform in tandem around the park as the audience strolls
from show to show. The Circus Amok Band performs mid festival
along with Ralph Lee's Dancing Animals. Kids can make their own
puppets at a craft table and march in a parade lead by the Circus
Amok Band which closes the festival.
