Hersheypark is seeking: high-energy comic and interactive performers,
jugglers, and percussionists, ages 18-25, in good physical condition, for
the Hersheypark Green Team, an interactive vaudeville comedy revue; Trash
Time, a high-energy percussion and juggling revue; and the Line Trotters, a
strolling interactive audience participation show. Contracts begin May
8, May 15, and May 23. All shows close Labor Day, Sept. 1.
Auditions will be held Fri. April 4 at 3PM at Theatreworks/USA Chelsea
Studios, 151 W. 26 St., 6th fl., NYC. All auditionees should have a good
sense of comic timing and be comfortable with improvisation and
audience participation. Comic and interactive performers and jugglers
should prepare a one-minute comic monologue or routine. Percussionists
should be prepared to demonstrate rudiments, set abilities, and improvisational skills;
drum pad provided. Salary starts between $450-$500 per week, with
opportunities to earn extra money.
