Note: This is not a paid gig, however the festival is offering a friendly pitch for performers to work and pass a hat.

A CALL FOR PERFORMERS FOR:
WHAT: Fall for Chelsea will brand Chelsea, New York as a cultural and entertainment destination. The event is a collaborative community celebration in this historic neighborhood, which has a myriad of arts organizations, galleries, restaurants and retail shops.
WHERE: From 28th to 14th Street and from Sixth Avenue to the River.
WHEN: October 16, 2004 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM
WHO: Buskers, street performers, strolling performers
- Performers will be assigned times and locations throughout the neighborhood and will be permitted to solicit tips
- Performers will be given Fall for Chelsea ID
- Fall for Chelsea will provide a changing and rest area with hospitality for performers
HOW:
- Submit a brief description of your act or specialty to fallforchelsea@dtw.org by October 1, 2004. Be sure to include your email and phone number, so we can reach you quickly.
- Selected performers will be contacted by October 5, 2004 with their assignment.
Fall for Chelsea is produced by Chelsea Cultural Partnership (CCP) founded by Dance Theater Workshop (DTW) in association with The Joyce Theater and Atlantic Theater Company among others (Donna Lieberman, Producer).
