Save the date!

NATIONAL CIRCUS FESTIVAL 2005

Tuesday, May 3 – Sunday, May 8 inBrattleboro, VT

Hosted by Nimble Arts, this is your opportunity to come play, commune and train with other professional circus performers. Skill sharing sessions will be mixed with more formal workshops presented on a variety of topics. There will be opportunities to learn news skills, work on performance technique, and take classes from well known industry instructors like Elsie and Serenity Smith (Gemini Trapeze), Tony Duncan (IJA Champion Juggler), Keith Hennessey (Circo Zero), Sarah East Johnson (Lava Love) and Wise Fool NM.

This festival is for people who make a living performing and/or teaching circus and vaudeville skills. Please note that this is not a workshop designed to introduce students to the performing world. Riggers and equipment builders are invited to participate by teaching workshops and leading seminars – please call Elsie to arrange this.

NOTE: If would like to host a workshop or lead a skill sharing session, there are discounts and lodging bonuses available to you. Please contact Elsie at 802-246-3001 to discuss the possibilities! And if you would like to perform in the gala show please send us a video of the piece you are interested in presenting – however it must fit under a 17’ ceiling!

Information such as fees, schedules, show times and instructor lists will be sent out by January 1. I hope that we will see you in May!

Cheers,

Elsie and Serenity Smith
