New Clown Class

Note: Instructor Eric Davis has been making quite a splash around the New York variety scene, first as Mr. Mustard and more recently as the Red Bastard.

NEW CLASS OFFERED! :
Movement and Clown for the Improviser- Taught by Eric Davis.

8 week class ( Sundays 3-6 PM) Beginning March 13th

MOVEMENT & CLOWN FOR THE IMPROVISER

This movement class draws on such theatrical techniques as Lecoq, Dance and Clown to help the improvising performer achieve maximum presence on stage. From the Beautiful to the Ridiculous, we will explore the performer's tools: body, emotion, desire, expression, connection and generosity.

Eric Davis has been an improviser and teacher for 12 years. He has taught and performed internationally, in Ireland, Belgium, London, and Canada as well as the U.S. He is trained in Lecoq technique and most recently collaborated with Canadian Clowning Guru, Sue Morrison, who teaches a hybrid of European and Native American Clown Techniques. Eric's Bouffon, Red Bastard, has been photographed by some of the world's top photographers and is currently burning up New York's vaudeville and variety scene. Coming soon: redbastard.com
