A special farewell to Tony Montanaro, who died Friday December 13 at
his home in Maine. Tony, who hosted the championships in Reading, will be
remembered for his great talent and for his many accomplishments but
especially for the amazing teaching and inspiration he provided for
generations of variety artists.

3. New Poi Book
V is a little embarrassed to be including this, but she got a fancy html
e-mail about it. So if you're interested, e-mail Viveca, and she'll be happy to
forward it to you. She cannot protect you from ridicule if you practice at
Carmine though.

4. Juggling Requests for TV
These are two odd requests that jugglers could fill. I bet you could
stretch it, i.e., a juggler losing a gig instead of a clown losing a job.
E-mail Viveca directly if you're interested in either.
- Hey do you know of an all-male or all-female juggling/acrobatic/whatever
group who have turned down member of the opposite sex who wanted to join?
("it wouldn't be the same," "would change the vibe," "more comfortable with
all girls" or all guys etc). It's a long shot but I thought i'd ask. We are
doing a story to tie in to the Augusta/Masters golf tourney all-male golf
club story -- we want to find a parallel story.
- I'm looking for a clown that has lost his/her job because of the failing
economy. Especially one who has something to say about it.
