Thanks to all who have gotten guests passes when renewing or opening new
memberships, and thanks to all who have been writing the gym. They have made
it quite clear that they consider the problem solved. We don't, but we need
to think of a solution -- not just complain. In the meantime, please
remember to let us know before you renew or open a new membership, and
please donate your guest passes for visiting jugglers.
Aren't you glad you live in New York, entertainment capital of the world?

Sideshow School Session
The first one of these got very good reviews.
Here is the information on the next session of the Coneys Island Sideshow
School. The school will run on Nov. 15, 16, 17 & 22, 23, 24. On Fridays, the
school will run from 6 to 10pm and on Sat/Sun it will be 1 to 5pm. Tuition
is $600. Here's the blurb from the website www.coneyisland.com that tells
you what we will be teaching:
SIDESHOW SCHOOL IN NOVEMBER AT SIDESHOWS BY THE SEASHORE!
Have you ever dreamed of running away with the circus? Did anyone ever
call you a freak? Well, now’s your chance to become one! Coney Island USA is
proud to announce its latest program- SIDESHOW SCHOOL! Work with some of the
greatest talents in the business to learn the ins and outs of the working
acts of the sideshow- Fire Eating, Snake Charming, The Human Blockhead,
Sword Swallowing, Magic and More!!
That "more" is how to stick your hand into an animal trap, walk over
broken bottles in your bare feet, how to lay down on a bed of nails, the
electric chair act and the blade box act. We are also planning on even more
surpises.
If you are interested, you should call Dick Zigun at 718-372-5159.
We are also thinking of doing a weekend intensive for the people that
already have some skill. This weekend will cover more advanced skills like
sword swallowing and perhaps knife throwing taught by the World Champion
Knife Thrower, the Great Throwdini!

terrific (I'm a happy owner of his first CD), he's a lot of fun to see live,
