Email server problems have prevented the past few news updates to backfire. Check out the archives for news between August 9 & September 20.
Thanks to all who have gotten guests passes when renewing or opening new
memberships, and thanks to all who have been writing the gym. They have made
it quite clear that they consider the problem solved. We don't, but we need
to think of a solution -- not just complain. In the meantime, please
remember to let us know before you renew or open a new membership, and
please donate your guest passes for visiting jugglers.

1. Road Trip -- Philly Phest!
The 2002 Philly Fest will be at Friends Select School, 17th and Ben Franklin
Parkway, Philadelphia on Oct. 12 and 13. Admission to the Festival is free,
tickets to the Saturday night public show are $5. For more info, see

3. Halloween Performances Wanted
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!
Make Halloween last three days long this year! After the parade, the
festivities do not have to stop! Drama of Works is producing a late night
Halloween cabaret extravaganza at HERE Art Center in their Club space
November 1st and 2nd in good ole' NYC! If you have a 5-10 minute piece that
is already moody, spooky, filled with vampires, black cats, devils,
skeletons, day of the dead imagery or would like to make one, please email
us and let us know about it. (You may be asked to provide a script or video
to help us in our selection.)
Space on our apartment floors is available for out-of-town people and a
split of the box office (however piddly) will be shared by all!

4. Make-A-Wish Seeks Volunteers
The note says clown, but other performers might also be welcome.
Chandra Luce is a clown in Fort Worth Texas. She works for American Airlines and is involved with their Make a Wish plane sponsorship. On October 10th they are flying five families to Orlando via LaGuardia airport. She is looking for two clowns to volunteer their services around 8:00AM
that morning to face paint, balloon sculptures, etc. Anyone wishing to volunteer their services, can contact Chandra at work (972)-425-2315 or e-mail her at Chandra.Luce@AA.com. This is the first time they are flying out of LaGuardia. Thank you
