2. Pratt juggling club closed for the summer

Just what it says. It's a college thing. Don't know what their fall schedule will be yet, but thanks to all of them for hosting Tuesdays, good luck on your exams (or is it projects at art school?), and hope to see some of you on Thursdays, some at Reading.

3. Flying Karamazov Brothers in NYC this Friday

FKB are performing a benefit for the Brearley School this Friday, May 10, at City Center. I've been holding this e-mail for days waiting for details, but I don't know the skivvy, and haven't been able to find it on the FKB, City Center, or Brearley websites. The info is good though, and I'm waiting to hear back from them so if you would like to attend (highly recommended), let me know, and I'll respond individually. One thing I do know though is there won't be any comps. Sorry, but it's a benefit.

4. Have Juggle This! souvenirs; need video

E-mail Viveca for t-shirts, programs, or postcards -- please! E-mail Matt for snacks.

More importantly, do you have video of the show or of the gym? Please let Viveca know if you do. We'd like to put together a good convention video, edited from different people's cameras. We know we saw cameras there. Please share copies now.

5.Circus Minimus in NYC May 19

Free show by last year's winner of the IJA's education award. The owners of Embassy Suites Hotel are (re-?) opening across from Ground Zero and are hosting a free 75-minute show.

Circus Minimus - The One - Man Circus in a Suitcase is an entire cast of circus characters in one small suitcase. There is a band, head usher, ringmaster, juggler, magician, an Italian circus family, tent and a sideshow. Each show is a dialogue between the audience and the characters - a lighthearted collaboration. It's a chance to runaway and join the circus and still be home for dinner!

6.World Juggling Day June 15

What are we going to do? Register to win prizes, etc. here, and email me with any group ideas. And when I say group ideas, I'm looking for someone else to coordinate activities. I'm willing to publicize them, but I can't organize this one. I hope someone else can. Any volunteers?

7. Reading Reading Reading

Schedule is set, and apparently hotel rooms are going fast. Make your reservations now. Plan to be there July 15 - 20, and we'll talk about rides, etc. later. It's less than three hours away, so we also may be expecting some visitors to NY before or after. Details here.

8. Performing opportunities at Six Flags Six Flags Great Adventure is looking for stage & street performers for their Celebrate America days (July 3-7). They're looking for all kinds of acts: jugglers, minstrels, barbershop quartets, clowns, arts and crafts, drum and bugle corps, bands, just about anybody. We asked about fire players and the woman in charge got excited and said she'd check into it but that it shouldn't be a problem.

Stage performers must be able to have 3 shows at 45 minutes each, or 6 shows at 20 minutes, but it's negotiable. Acts can perform one or more days. The compensation is free admittance to the park the day of, and for each day they perform they get a pass to come back. It's not much, but it should be fun.

Contact Barbara Eddy (732) 928-2000 ext. 2615 - Mention Carmine Street Irregulars as a reference.

THEY ESPECIALLY WANT PEOPLE SAT. EVE - 10PM SHOW. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE Six Figures Theatre Company is proud to present CLOWNING THE BARD & CLOWNING THE BIBLE.

Created and directed by Linda Ames Key, these popular FringeNYC shows have been revamped and reimagined. Ms. Key states: CLOWNING THE BARD and BIBLE combine my love of theatrical imagery with my training from the now-defunct Ringling Brothers' Clown College. Using a group of incredibly talented phyisically-oriented actors, we reduce Shakespeare's plays and the Books of the Bible into short vignettes, set to rockin' music. We use circus skills, dance, physical comedy, commedia d'ell arte skills, double takes and good old prat falls to tell these fabulous stories as simply and as beautifully as we can.

Information: The West End Theatre, 263 West 86th Street, between Broadway & Amsterdam inside the Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew, 2nd floor
