2. Variety acts wanted for Wed and Sun nights.
Starting next week, Wednesday nights will be an open-stage for work in progress. It's a great place to try out new material and see what else is in development. Variety only -- poetry and stand-up is not welcome. And if you have more polished material to present, Sundays will be a traditional variety show. Artist compensation is based on a split from door revenues (Sundays only), and they're always looking for new acts. If you're interested, contact Keith at cirkus@bindlestiff.org.

3. Pratt juggling club closed this week for spring break
That one is pretty self explanatory, huh? Ironically, this is the reason for
this week's entire newsletter. All the rest of this could have waited.

4.Nick Goldsmith in Met Opera
Carmine member Nick Goldsmith (Nicholas Flair) is appearing as an acrobat in
the Metropolitan Opera's production of Parade. I LOVED the show -- three
pieces of French music by different composers, sets and costumes by David
Hockney. Nick also passes balls and juggles five balls. For details see

7.Wanted -- sublettors
I am almost always looking for visiting artists or friends-of-a-juggler to sublet my apartment, and I also have a lead on a place available in the East Village. Dates are flexible. Please have anyone interested contact me (Viveca) directly. Please keep me in mind for this always although I won't put it in every newsletter.
