CirqueICE Auditions

World Ice Events, a New York City-based producer of figure skating productions, is casting both skating and non-skating circus talent for a new project titled CirqueICE. CirqueICE will be America's only traveling one-ring European style cirque show on ice. The production utilizes a synthetic ice surface, which can also be performed on like traditional flooring. For circus performers in ballet shoes, or barefoot, the surface feels exactly like traditional flooring.
CirqueICE will launch a national tour in a 1,500 seat big top in 2010.
In preparation for this tour, CirqueICE will be performing three (3) abbreviated performances in Montclair, New Jersey, on December 31, 2009 as part of a New Year's Eve celebration.
CirqueICE is casting the following acts for the New Year's Eve shows, with potential to join the full touring production afterwards:
- Clowns
- Jugglers
- Silk Rope
- Aerial Lyra
- Spanish Web
- Dog Act
- Mimes
- Sway Poles
CirqueICE will be holding auditions in West Orange, New Jersey, later this month.
