  Circus Minimus Seeks Magic Instructor

Circus Minimus seeks to hire a magic teacher who can teach children the tricks listed below. Classes are two small groups (fewer than 10 kids each, and the students are under 10 years old) in an hour-long after-school class in downtown Brooklyn on Thursdays. Pay is $35 per hour, two-hour commitment, for twelve weeks, starting immediately.

The course description follows:

Wizardry 101

A crash course in unleashing the imagination! Through storytelling and theater, we will create our very own world of Wizardry with infinite magical possibilities. We will invent mythical creatures, concoct potions, cast spells, and make magical props that allow a new world to come alive before your eyes. Through theater exercises and serious play, children will develop their own cast of characters and fantasy setting to explore the storyteller, performer and wizard within.

  5. Saltshaker through table
  6. Thumb tip vanish/ silk to shoe
  7. Sponge ball sequence
