10-11:15, audition. If called back, 11:30-12:50 the same day.
Where:
FAR Space, NYC
521 W. 26th St, (btw 10th & 11th Aves), second floor (take

The premise: Several heartbroken clown characters
travel to a mansion in the countryside to follow the
treatment regimen of a celebrated heartbreak-recovery
guru. The show will explore a ridiculous variety of
instances of "falling in love."
Rehearsal Schedule: We will be in development for the
month of November, rehearsing Tuesday mornings,
Thursday mornings and Sunday afternoons. December is
off and reserved for script finalization. Rehearsals
restart in January and continue through the beginning
of February. The piece will have its first showings
February 14th, 15th and 16th, location TBA.
Auditions will be this Thursday, October 2nd from
10am-11:15am. We must start on time, so please come a
little early. Callbacks will be from 11:30am-12.50pm
and will include auditioners from our previous round
of auditions. Please be prepared to stay for these
callbacks if we ask you to remain.
If you have a clown you consider "yours," by all means
bring the necessary costume to show us this character.
If you do not, bring any wardrobe that makes you feel
silly. We will also have an assortment of clothes to
choose from. PLEASE BRING YOUR RED NOSE IF YOU HAVE
ONE.
Format: Please come prepared to sing a love song that
really and truly moves you. WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN
WHETHER YOU SING "WELL." You will then be asked to
participate in an improvised scene.
We are seeking performers who have a background in
clown and devising theater. The director/company members all have trained at
the Ecole Jacques Lecoq and LISPA. We are not looking for birthday clowns.
