By Subway (recommended)
- A, B, C, D, E, F, or V train to West 4th.
- Exit at downtown end of platform.
- Turn right after turnstiles to emerge on the west side of 6th Avenue (Avenue of the Americas).
- Walk south on Sixth Avenue to Carmine Street and turn right (approximately one block).
- Walk west on Carmine Street to the gym (approximately four little blocks).
-OR-
- 1 or 9 train to Houston Street.
- Exit at Houston Street (uptown side of train).
- Walk north (against traffic) on Varick (7th Avenue South) to gym.
